Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms before booking a session.
These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Luke's Home Tech Support and Tuition. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. About Our Services
Luke's Home Tech Support and Tuition provides home technology setup, support, and one-to-one digital skills tuition. Sessions are delivered at your home using your own equipment.
Our services do not include:
- Hardware repair or replacement
- Data recovery
- Virus or malware removal
- Assessment or repair of physical damage to devices
- Work on equipment owned by third parties not present at the session
2. Bookings
All sessions require advance booking. A minimum booking of one hour applies to all visits.
Our current rate is £30 per hour.
By confirming a booking, you accept these terms and conditions.
3. Payment
Payment is due no later than the date of your session. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payment.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can notify us by phone, voicemail, or WhatsApp.
Cancellations made with fewer than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the minimum session rate of £30.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances and will provide as much notice as possible in such cases.
5. Our Responsibility
We will work carefully and take reasonable care with your equipment at all times. However, we cannot accept responsibility for:
- Pre-existing faults or problems with your devices
- Loss or corruption of data (we strongly recommend backing up your data before any session)
- Issues arising from third-party software, services, or updates
- Hardware failures occurring during or after a session
Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the session in which the issue arose.
If a problem falls outside the scope of our services, we will tell you clearly and, where possible, suggest where you might find further help.
6. Your Responsibilities
To help us provide the best service, please:
- Ensure relevant devices are charged and available for the session
- Have any passwords, login details, or account information to hand
- Let us know in advance of any specific access needs or requirements
7. Professional Conduct
We are committed to providing a friendly and respectful service. We ask that all sessions take place in a mutually respectful manner. We reserve the right to end a session early if we feel unsafe or are treated disrespectfully. The full session fee will remain payable in such circumstances.
8. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will apply to all bookings made after the date of any update.
